What I can say definitely stands out for me in terms of working for Scoutnet is the continuous and unwavering support, understanding and commitment that I receive from my manager and fellow colleagues. It is unlike any other place I have worked for before or even heard of and I must say that it makes my job an utmost pleasure.

Among all the unemployment problems our country is facing I am extremely grateful that I have a job let alone all the other aspects that Scoutnet has to offer. Scoutnet has allowed me to become more financially independent then many people my age and to broaden my knowledge and work experience and for that I am eternally grateful, in other aspects they have helped me grow as a person and provided me with priceless experiences, and also helped me expand my network

This goes without question, I cannot express the amount of support, encouragement and motivation that I have received and continue to receive not only from management but from my colleagues as well. What I value most is that despite the fact that we work from home, and that in itself poses its own challenges, but despite the difficulties the business goes above and beyond to ensure that we are cared for to the best of their capability.

After many years of searching for job closer to home was proving rather difficult, unfortunately where I reside job opportunities are scarce and salaries are way below market related which does not even help cover rental cost, especially as a single person.

I was homeless bouncing around from place to place at the time of applying for the position and working bar jobs to survive. It was a difficult period in my life after losing pretty much everything I had 2 homes, my car and every item in my life including my family and was trying to rebuild for years with many failed attempts until a friend of mine had sent me this recruitment listing during Covid-19 Pandemic

The basic salary was above our areas general market salary based in the area and was stoked when I came across it. Within the 2nd month I had already put down my deposit on my first place in 3 years and have been living here since, but after being granted the best opportunity within Scoutnet after taking this opportunity and giving it everything I have got with hard work,
dedication and growth I have not only been able to maintain but am now looking to finally start getting a bigger house and car, something I would never be able to do in my area.

Now I am able to live in one of the most beautiful provinces in South Africa, being able work from home and earn more than enough to live a fulfilling life is dream come true. Scoutnet saved me off the streets and gave me a life I didn’t know I was able to have on my own. I am now regaining control over my life again thanks to them

Covid had hit in March 2020 and had a ripple effect on my life. I had just baby then and had to resign from my job during that time period my husband was retrenched and had met in a very bad accident which left us financially constrained. In April 2021, I started my job search and was then contacted by Scoutnet with a job offer to start up their QA department.

I was interviewed by one of the management team members, and no sooner I was employed by the company in September 2021 and have not looked back with any regrets.

One of the best parts about this job other than the earning potential is our family, we may not see each other every day but we have created this “perfect little virtual family”, there is not a day that goes by that isn’t filled with laughter and fun and everyone is always looking out for one another and ready to lend a helping hand. No matter what.  We truly are a one of the kind group of people. I am blessed to work with such amazing staff. This team is not only strong on the frontlines, but we truly have become a family that I hate logging off from, even on our most challenging of days we find a way to make the most of it.

I accepted who I am and learned to face every challenge I come across in life.
I am a family orientated person; I can say my family inspires me to work hard every day. growing up was not easy but as I grow, I learned that being grateful for what I have, gives me a great approach to life.

Scoutnet as a company really changed my life. I never thought I would find myself working in a healthy environment. From the time I became part of the company a lot has changed in my life.
